Im 15 and I just got my braces off yesterday, and then went in for a dental cleaning right after. My teeth were perfectly straight no gaps whatsover, But today I woke up and noticed a hairline space between my front two teeth, extremely small but still there. When I take my fingers and push, the space goes back together immediately. Is this common for the day after getting braces off? It is tuesday, and I got my braces off yesterday (monday) and I get my retainer on thursday. Should the retainer re-close this gap and keep them straight?
