Extraction last week...

I had an Extraction last week. My stitches fell out today and I think my extraction went ok. My problem is a hole in my gum by my check. It’s still SO sensitive and I ‘m still a little swollen in check. I also have an earache on and off. Do I need to go back or will this heal?
