Problem after root canal, what happened

I had root canal treatment week ago(central upper incisor) . To be precise, a tooth is cleaned, and some medicine is put in it, then sealed with temporary filling.
One day after procedure i felt pressure, around nose and almost all upper lip.
And now i notice that i have like a abscess above that tooth. I don't understand, my tooth is opened,cleaned, medicine is in it, and still this problem??? What happened?

I don't have unfortunately. But what can be possible cause of this ? Can i save this tooth

Sometimes the area can become irritated after instrumentation. Did the dentist prescribe any antibiotics? The tooth will most likely settle down over the next few days.

No nothing. I just used salt water rinse. After 10 days dentist will change medicine. Is that too long to wait?

If you don't have severe pain, I would wait it out
