I've had root canal treatment done by a specialist. Imho he did a good job. But then I went back to my general dentist to complete the procedure.
It was the first molar on the upper right, the crown was gone to the gum line.
He just used multicore composite for the core but he didn't use any post. I asked him why don't we need a post. He just shrugged like "I'm to cool for you".
My mistake, I was like ok...he came highly recommended he knows what is doing. Then goes the core and the crown.
But I still wonder why no post? Half my teeth was gone.
