Jaw ache since root canal

i’ve been having issues with ongoing discomfort since my second root canal on the same tooth about nine days ago. There is a sort of throbbing in the area that comes and goes for no reason and now I just noticed that when I press on my outer jaw area right underneath the teeth on that side, it is sensitive. Could this have been some thing he did with the Novacane needles or what. I suppose I’m going to have to call the endodontist office once again.
