A month ago, I had a root canal on a front, upper tooth. The Root Canal aleviated all of my pain. However, the attached xray shows a dark area at the root of the tooth. I am not currently in pain. My Dentist says that we should give it time to see what happens; see if pain sets in. I am concerned that it is still infected. Should I inquire about another procedure or wait until I have pain to do something???
