Discon of Gum from Tooth

Hi! I got my wisdom teeth removed about two weeks ago and it all went very well. In the middle of last week I figured I was healed enough to go to a Mongolian restaurant with my mother for mothers day.

When I was eating I realized that my gums were separated from my very back tooth on the bottom right. Food likes to get jammed up there (I know, gross) though It doesn't really hurt much.

I figured it was normal and went on as usual but it still hasn't closed up. I brush my teeth once a day and have been using a mouthwash I got after the surgery. I'm not sure if this is because of the surgery or what. What's going on?

*EDIT* Sorry! Somehow messed up the title.
