Composite Bonding Keeps Breaking

Hi all,

Would appreciate some advice. Had invisilign last year and some composite bonding work in April 2023 on 6 of my front top teeth which looked great. However I have been back to the dentist around 10 times now as it keeps cracking. I'm not eating particularly hard food when they crack-tonight they cracked when my bottom teeth touched them 🤦‍♀️

My dentist had said I can get them done with harder composite like they use in white fillings but they wont be as beautiful as my current work. However I can't find any pictures of this online. Has anyone had this and if so would you be willing to send me examples as I'm sick of this but really dont want to get veneers.

Many thanks!

Did the dentist evaluate your bite before doing the composite bonding? If you grind your teeth, there is a big chance that the fillings will keep on breaking. A lot of times I manufacture a bite-plate for my patients to sleep with at night, to prevent them fracturing.
