Had a root canal on #31 18 months ago, now I have a toothache. While in the chair I heard the dentist say to his assistant that the base is cracked, and he will glue it with epoxy. I should have asked him about it right then, but you know how most of us are. Can a crack be repaired with epoxy long term? I like my dentist, but wonder if he is a little quick to do root canals. I've never had one just filled, they all need a root canal. I've been in mild pain for a couple weeks, but haven't called him yet, just mulling my options, my credit card is about maxed out. Thanks
