Surgeon refuses extraction

I am an 83 year old man. For many years I have taken bisphosphanates for osteopenia. I have no insurance but have funds that should cover any exigency. My dentist has told me that an upper molar is decayed and should be extracted. The surgeon
has refused the job because of the fear of jaw necrosis. What are my options? I don't want decay to infect my skull.

Ask the dentist if he can remove the nerve of the tooth. If necrosis is a risk factor, root canal treatment, with submergence of the root is an alternative options.
