Hi, Is it standard practice to have a hyienist treatment without a dental nurse present manouvering the extraction tube? I was being descaled and had to move the extraction tube around myself a couple of times, which wasn’t successful and I ended up choking and coughing up mid-way through the treatment.
Just wondering if this is normal? Thanks
