Tooth 21:
Pulpectomy performed in early February,
Obturated in early June...as healing was delayed...it never actually healed...I always had some kind of pain and related headache. Endodontist commented: "it won't get any better". See attached X-ray (still with temporary restoration).
Tooth 21 became really painful again in mid June...and is getting worse
Dentist referred me back to Endodontist as he has the CBCT data. Endodontist had told me earlier he had not identified a VRF (neither have I... I looked at the CBCT images). Therefore pointless getting back to him.
Circular situation. What next?
Waiting?
Seeing another Endodontist for re-treatment?
Extracting?
It cannot be that all my two endodontically treated teeth are write-offs. When it comes to incisors, according to the peer- reviewed studies I read, 94% of them with VRFs had been endodontically treated before...and hence weakened.
That pdf space in the image does not look that bad either.
