When we say that childhood is one's formative years, it's the truth, and even more so when it comes to oral health. Oral health affects all children, but is critically lacking for most minorities, simply because they often lack access to dental services. 23 million children do not have dental insurance; 40-50% will be effected by tooth decay by age 5. 50% of all kids will have some number of cavities by age 7. 51 million school hours are lost due to oral health concerns. Don't let your child be one of these statistics, if they have not been to the dentist for an annual check up, schedule one now.
