Braces to move wisdom tooth

My 2nd molar had to be removed as it got decayed badly due to the wisdom tooth that came out horizontally which impacted and i had failed to notice the decay (high pain tolerance). So now there is a hole where the tooth was and i was wondering is it possible to move the wisdom tooth to where the hole is using braces and how long will that take, considering i am a 25 year old.

Not easy, but might be doable. Have to consider also the shape of the wisdom tooth crown, and shape of the roots. Go see an orthodontist. My wife lost 1st and 2nd molars due to decay, and had wisdom tooth moved forward with braces to position of 1st molar, but it was the only molar tooth left. Implants weren't so reliable back then, so not an option.

How long did she have to wear braces for? Time is another factor that is bothering me.
