My dentist said that I had a dead tooth and I needed a root canal treatment. He opened my tooth and cleaned it, but said that he can not close it yet because of a infection(at least that is what I understood). On my next appointment, next day, he just cleaned the tooth and again said it can not be closet yet. So two days already my tooth remains open. Tomorrow is my third appointment... He also gave me antibiotics which I take for 2 days now. Should I worry? Is it normal for the tooth to remain open after a root canal?
