Resolution of CBCT Scans: meh?

Resolution is so bad that one will never identify fractures. Done by my Endodonist who gave me the data.

Is this so bad because of the acquisition parameters or because the machine ain't any better?

But hey, the imaging software runs on a Mac (with Windows 7).

Now I know: in order to increase resolution, you need to limit the machine to a small field of view...which is essentially like zooming in.

But not all machines have these capabilities.
