Remove if I'm in the wrong forum. I had RCT in February. There was no infection, but there was some pain and a very deep old filling. since the RCT and crown, I have had numerous attempts to adjust the bite--at one point grinding food caught the cusp and caused major sensitivity. The bite has since been adjusted, but the tooth is still very sensitive to touch. Lateral pressure from a finger, tongue, or toothbrush causes pain. Root canal looks successful on X-ray-we feel that it is the PDL. It's a second premolar, and it is mostly out of occlusion when eating. What is my best course of action? I'm thinking wait it out? Yes or no?

I would give it a tad more time. Go to an endodontist too for them to reassure it was good to give you peace of mind. An endo told me they normally wait 6 months on a root canal before re do etc
