Is this a deep bite or an excessive overbite or is it in the acceptable range? I am aware that it's probably not the "perfect bite" but I am fine with that as long as it doesn't require a correction. I am satisfied with my smile and the bite is feeling natural in a day to day environment.

If you can eat and talk then that's usually good enough. As for beauty, that's a subjective thing - I like the look of your teeth. If you were my child, I would be reluctant to put you through ortho treatment to try and make that look "better".

Hi Moggie,
From the photo you shared, it looks like you might have a mild to moderate deep bite, where the upper front teeth overlap the lowers more than average. A certain amount of overbite is totally normal, and many people function well even if it's a little more than textbook "ideal."

Since you're not experiencing discomfort and your bite feels natural during daily activities like eating or speaking, it's probably not something that needs urgent correction. Deep bites typically become a concern if they're causing wear on the lower teeth, gum irritation, or jaw issues.
