Is my uni bad?

I’m in my second year and we’re still hardly doing any practical stuff we just cover most things theoretically but when I ask my friends at other unis they tell me how much practical work they’re doing and they even practice practically at home and have hand pieces and everything they need and I didn’t even know I should be practicing at home. So is my university bad? Or is it just a different curriculum cuz I’m starting to get worried

A Lot of universities only start with practical work in your 3rd year. I would speak to a lecturer at your specific institution for more information regarding your curriculum
