Don't know what to do anymore

My dad has been is pain since Tuesday of this week and has gone to the dentist twice and the ER twice as well. The X-rays done at the dentist do not show anything and he also had an MRI and face scan done and was told the problem is dental but the dentist can't find anything. He is taking medicine they gave him but the pain always comes back. At this point we don't know what else to do any suggestions?
