If a tooth has an MOD amalgam filling in, and the MB cusp has fractured off, and there is a fair amount of tooth substance exposed, is it viable to repair with composite. If bonded - will the amalgam stick at all to the amalgam?
I know it's not a long term solution.
Would you say it's inferior to doing a pinned amalgam? What would you say the comparative life expectancy of these two options are?
