Icon (DMG America), MI paste, Veneers

Hi all,

The dentist recommended DMG America's Icon procedure to treat my white spots. I heard that MI paste was practical for treating them as well. The thing is if I were to get veneers later, would Icon and MI paste still be necessary?
I did some research online but still found it difficult to understand the pros/cons of each.

Try not to get veneers if you can possibly avoid it. They are not like having natural teeth and you cannot do everything you can with them. (e..g you can't bite your nails or bite through thread.) They have to remove a lot from the length of the tooth to fit them.
