Gutta Percha extruding through temporary filling?

I recieved quite a few root canals today on my front upper teeth. When I got home I noticed the filler stuff that looks like wires (gutta percha I'm assuming) is literally hanging out the back of my tooth. Is this normal? Is it dangerous? Can it wait for my crown appointment in 2 weeks?

I've had several root canals done and have never had this. I'd called my dr asap.

That's so weird. She is a top dentist here. I don't get it. I mustered up so much courage after years of hesitation to get this done

You can have leakage of oral fluids/saliva which can contaminate a sterile environment inside the filling.
