My endodontist used hot GP...which is expected to shrink when cooling. At the obturation, the GP looked great in the X-ray.
In a CBCT scan 3 weeks later, the GP looked overextended [red arrow].
Is this an imaging artifact or is it possible that the GP migrated across the apex days after obturation, for instance pushed by the permanent restoration a week later?
