It is a good adjunct, especially some of the newer programmes that help identify carious lesions on an x-ray. But in the end, you will still need the eye of a clinician in order to make the final call regarding treatments.
Perhaps in the future, things might change as AI becomes more sophisticated.

How do providers feel to integrate AI into their practices?
I've seen mixed feelings, but overall most providers seem cautiously optimistic. AI can really help with admin tasks, diagnostics, and improving patient care—but there’s still concern about privacy, cost, and losing that human connection. It's useful, but needs to be integrated thoughtfully.
