Look up Insurance on Your Website?

Hey Everyone!

I have a dental client that would like a way for website visitors to type in their insurance ID number and find out if the dentist takes that insurance. Does anyone else have this and know how to do it?

Howdy, Michael.

I saw your post about typing the insurance I’d lookup.

There are two general ways I’d go about this.

1. Simple links and 800 numbers to each insurance carriers policy search. This directs the customer to the resource they need. There might be a way to use a pre-searched link to the particular dentist.

2. The more complex solution would be to tie into various insurance companies databases API. In that case you’ll want to limit it to only the insurance companies the Dentist uses.

I’d have to hear more before knowing what the dentist wants to do.
