Does any of this look infected?

I have a hard but small lump at the bottom of the incisor but my dentist said it's nothing to worry about and it's not infection because it's not "attached to a specific tooth". Is this true? I had these x-rays done but I don't know what I'm looking at.... Also wondering if that dark spot under the far left tooth is infection or if it's just the way the x-ray looks.
