Bleeding for 6 hours after wisdom tooth removal. Is it normal?

I had removed my upper wisdom tooth today at 2.30pm. it's 8.30pm now and still changing the gauzes every 45 minutes. When the bleeding will stop? I am sitting straight since extraction and didn't lie down or sleep. I have to change gauges and don't want to sleep with gauze.

Please help. How long is the normal and how to stop bleeding?
