Hi, I need advice about this situation. I heard somewhere the jaw bone doesn’t decay it shrinks. Is that statement true? If I get these two lower impacted wisdom extracted by a general dentist. Will I be fine or will it cause a big swelling and infection??

Hi, I need advice about this situation. I heard somewhere the jaw bone doesn’t decay it shrinks. Is that statement true? If I get these two lower impacted wisdom extracted by a general dentist. Will I be fine or will it cause a big swelling and infection??

Most likely these extractions will not be done by a normal general dentist, due to the risk factors that is present on the x-ray. You will need to see an oral surgeon in order to have these removed, due to the risk of nerve involvement.
