Whether to try and save one remaining molar

Hi,
I’m at a loss to know what to do. I have 1 remaining molar on my right upper side. It is confirmed the nerve is dead. There is no guarantee of it working out as it does have cracks in it and the specialist won’t know til he looks in $1300 later to see if it will be viable. There is no only reason I thought of keeping it was to be able to have a bridge to add another toothe but it may not be strong enough anyway 😞 any advice welcome

It sounds like you need to keep in mind, that even if the tooth has a root canal treatment, there is still a chance that treatment can fail.
It might be a better long term solution to rather consider an extraction and replacement with an implant, if there is enough bone, or a partial denture, which can sometimes be used as an interim option, until you save up for an implant at a later stage.
