Hey everyone, I just immigrate to the US 3 weeks ago... I only have a high school diploma that I hope would be valid in the US, and I am 26. In my country, you don`t need a bachelor's degree before applying for dental school... You can do that straight from high school, and to be honest thinking about my age and how long it would take to graduate and actually start working, kind of discourage me...
I thought about doing a dental assistant course, work part-time while I study online (bachelor of health science); - Opinions?
Or AAS in Dental Hygiene;
The thing is I heard that is hard to get into dental school too. I am a bit lost here. Any help? Which path did you take to become a dentist?
