Looking for some advice please! I had a tooth that got a filling replaced. This was quite sore afterwards for months and nothing shown on x ray. the dentist recommended a root canal which I got done by an endodontist.
My first visit went well to start off the root canal, two weeks later I was eating and got a pain in it but went away then. It only hurt when I put pressure on it or pushed my tongue against it.
The endodontist said he couldn't find anything wrong with it when I went back so completed the root canal. It still felt the same when pressure was applied to it.
Back to my own dentist a few months later and he wanted to do a crown so I got this done but the tooth was still the same.
This was done at the end of last year. Now this week , I have pain in it when I eat and it is sensitive to hot food and drink.
Perhaps there is a crack in the tooth and it can't be seen on an x ray or CT scan which I have had done.
At this stage I wish I had it taken out and saved money for an inplant!
Has anyone had anything similar?
Thanks
