Tooth with root canal sensitive to air

Last Thursday I got the impressions done for 2 crowns. One on top and one on the bottom, both teeth have had a root canal over a year ago.

Sense getting the impression done and a temporary crown put on, the tooth on the bottom has been having sensitivity to air and also when liquids touch it. And, when I look at the tooth it looks like there's a very tiny gap between the temporary crown and the actual tooth. I've read online that a tooth shouldn't have any sensitivity after having a root canal.

Should I be concerned about this?

Good day
It is strange that the tooth is sensitive. I would mention this to my dentist, so that the root canal can be re-evaluated before cementing the permanent crown over a root canal that might be compromised
