tiny pit holes on molar chewing surface

It reminds me of tiny-pre drilled holes a machinist would put into a project to give you a guide on where to drill. So basically I have these tiny pit holes on the surface of my molar and can't find anything on the interent that shows what would cause this.. grinding? Clenching
