Small mouth no space due to missing teeth

Help! I have been to at least 10 different dentists (more if we go back a year or two) and none can seem to point me in the right direction. Missing teeth for an extended time caused my upper gum to meet lower teeth. No room in back for implants I’m told. 3 of the 10 dentists suggested full upper denture. I was ready to move ahead with this until one of the dentists said there is no room for that so she isn’t sure why they suggested that. All said not possible for partials.

Any photos?
  1. Front-on view with teeth together
  2. 2 side-views (left and right) with teeth together
Any Xrays too, esp an OPG?

feel like there must be some type of specialist I need to see. I cannot be the only one in the world that doesn’t have space in the back due to missing teeth/partial remaining root canals. The severe cavity next to front tooth I am was told needs a root canal. I dare not spend thousands on that when the answer may be full upper dentures and the previous decades root canals failed. I also have a small palate which isn’t helping. Started with less teeth after 8 were pulled decades ago for braces.

In your case I would suggest seeing a specialist prosthodontist. They specialize in full mouth rehabilitation. They will do a full consultation, most likely take some photos, impressions and make some study models and then they will discuss the various options with you in order to open up your bite.
This will be a process over several visits and several months and might also be costly.

Agree with Dr M. A prosthodontic assessment is highly advisable. He will also prob suggest an ortho opinion. Even if you do not go thru with his suggested treatment plan $$$, you should ask for an alternative plan that could be handled by a general dentist.
