Small lump in mouth

Hi,

Just looking for some reassurance, I noticed a flesh like lump that doesn't hurt at all at the back of mouth after doing some research it seems lumps and bumps in the mouth appear to be quite a common complaint .

I'm unsure what it is and whilst I wait for an appointment I'm wondering if you can give any advice as I've persuaded myself that I've oral cancer after relying on google.
