Should I be worried?

I burned the roof of my mouth back in late June, it soon became swollen and painful (ulcer, I suspect). I couldn’t get an appointment with my dentist until early August. When I went, he said not to worry about it and that it should heal up on its own. It hasn’t changed in appearance since, and is still quite tender.

I have a check up in a few weeks, and I couldn’t get anything sooner

It is difficult to see clearly on the photo, but the area seems to be healing well. Keep your appointment with your dentist to just follow up.
