Sensitivity in tooth two months after root canal.

Hello, so I had a root canal and crown done on my my upper right lateral incisor about a month and a half to two months ago. At first everything seemed fine and while I had some issues with one of the teeth below it hitting the back of it before the root canal, the issue had seemed to let up for a good while. However within the past week, the issue of the teeth hitting has started again and when they they do it can pain/disconfort in the tooth. Like sometimes it will hit and the sensation won't be too bad and other times it will hit in a way that causes some pain in the tooth like it sore.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

It sounds like either you might be grinding your teeth, or it could be that the crown on the lateral incisor or opposing tooth needs to be adjusted a little. Excessive occlusal forces most likely the cause. Have you been back to your dentist for a follow-up? Do you perhaps have an x-ray that you could share of the tooth after the root canal has been completed?
