Root treatment - x ray follow up questi

Hi, I have a quick question,

2 years ago I had a root treatment. In the last weeks I have been having some sensitivity to hot and cold on that same teeth, so I visited the dentist and got the tooth opened, the canals cleaned again and sealed. But the tooth keeps on being sensitive even now, so I made a x ray photo of it. Could u tell me what is the encircled thing in the base of the root is? Is it a normal part of the bone structure, or a cyst caused by bacteria? Is it anything to worry about?

This is the tooth now:

This is the tooth before being treated for a second time:

Thanks beforehand

Your links don't take us directly to the images, but I have seen your post on Reddit.
The mesial-buccal root isn't filled at all, and the disto-buccal root is only half-filled. If you have an MB2 root you can be sure the dentist missed it.
So, you won't be getting hot and cold from the circled area, but possibly from the unfilled MB roots.
This is simply a hopeless RCT and you should go somewhere else if you can. This dentist has no idea what they're doing.
