Root canal

About six weeks ago I had a root canal, now I had my second root canal a few days ago on September 9th, we a few days before my second root canal I was experiencing some jaw swelling and swelling below the tooth around the two teeth that had or just had root canals. I am still experiencing swelling around my jaw, it had gotten worse with the second root canal. I iced it twice on the 10th, it is still fairly swollen. My jaw has been swollen since 6 weeks after the first root canal. Is it inflammation and why could it be still swollen like this? Could something have not gone right with the first root canal? I have just about not pain right now. No need to take pain medicine any longer, at least right now. Will an anti-inflammatory help? Thanks
