Root canal tomorrow advice

I have a root canal booked tomorrow but got an infection in the tooth swollen face im on day 3 of antibodics can they still go ahead with it ?

Depends on the size of the swelling. Sometimes we still open up the tooth, to attempt some drainage, so that the swelling can subside. The root canal will then be completed in more that 2 visits. If the swelling is very large, external drainage can also be considered, with a broad-spectrum antibiotic, or in severe cases, extraction of the tooth.

It is possible that your root canal could still go ahead if your dentist determines that it is safe to do so after evaluating your condition; however, if there is significant swelling or ongoing infection, they may choose to postpone it until further healing occurs.
