HI everyone, it is my first time using this website and i hope to find useful answers.
I have a root canal that was done 2-3 years ago and recently i found that two of them are infected. I went to two dentists with the x-ray and they said that i need to get the teeth out. can you please advice me what to do. I am not a doctor but i think getting them out is the last option. what can you say from the x-ray do i really need to get them out or is it re-treatable, maybe i need to go to another dentist? they are the lower R and L . what is surprising to me is that i don`t feel any pain.

The one on the lower left probably has a crack in it which means it cannot be fixed and it needs to be removed. Some more testing would be required to know for sure. The one on the lower right has a much higher chance of being repaired. You should consult an endodontist (root canal specialist) before making a decision.
