hi everyone,
i had a tooth removed approx 4 weeks ago, it was a very truamatic removal as i have hooked roots, i explained this but dentist said it was fine. It took three quarters of an hour plus, for him to remove the tooth which ended up with the roots being left behind. He gave no aftercare instructions or antibiotics, just a follow up appointment with the surgeon to remove the roots. I had the roots removed the following week and was given a course of antibiotics. Now i have a lump appear in the socket , it’s tender but not painful, but growing.

I would wait at least 2 weeks and check if the lump disappears. If not, go and see the dentist in order for a follow-up.
