So never noticed this before I feel bad for my dental team because it feels like small little issues with my teeth keep coming back and they are really good dentists so just wondering what's causing this two month old crown gap. Lab error? Drilled down too much at the margin? Is there a material they can add without needing it replaced so soon?

Does it feel like there is a clear gap that you can feel with your nail? A flowable composite can be added in order to seal this, although this is not an ideal permanent solution. A lot of issues could cause this-too tight contact, causing improper seating of the crown, a lip on the margin of the crown, preventing proper seating, etc.
The ideal solution is to make the dentist aware of this, so that if there is a failure or leakage, the cost is not on you to replace the crown.

I would go back to the dentist so that this area can be evaluated. If food particles get stuck, then this could be an area of potential secondary decay beneath the crown.
