I had the first RCT session on Friday morning (48h ago). At first it got a bit more sensitive to percurssion than usual, but then started getting better, so that 8 hours ago it was at a normal stage, kind of. But then 3 hours ago I started getting pulling sensations when laying down, so I even had to avoid laying down. However after 3 hours the sensitivity to percussion is still normal. Does this seem like infection? Fracture? Normal? What does it seem like?
Also I managed to schedule an appointment with an endodontist for Monday morning, but there's a clinic open today (Sunday) for emergencies which only has generalists. I had already gone there once for a clearly infected RCT (pain), they put calcium hydroxide, and it killed the pain immediately, but after 5 days it returned even worse, so I pulled off the tooth. My endodontist says I would have had a better chance with an endodontist, which I didn't know any at the time. Will it make more harm than good going there today, if I also go to the specialist tomorrow?
Will taking antibiotics help? I have some leftover.
