Pulled tooth that looks weird trying to heal

I had a tooth pulled because I don’t have 1800 for a second root canal, and I couldn’t eat for days from the pain. The dentist put in a stitch that fell out 3 hours later when I tried to eat some chicken noodle soup instead of drinking tomato soup again. It doesn’t hurt aside from the gums being swollen and sore... I’d expect that since she took an hour trying to get it out in the first place... but I’m wondering if it’s infected, dry socket, or if it’s fine and I’m worrying for nothing. I don’t have the money to make another appointment just to check and honestly the dentist in my area are all scams so if I can avoid it all together I’d rather do that. I’ve added pictures... they look gross.

It looks good and you don't have a dry socket. As long as you are not experiencing any swelling, allow it to heal. That particular molar is very difficult to extract and needed a lot of surgical intervention.

Thank you. The gums are still swollen but I read that that could take up to ten days to go down, and as if today it’s only been 4, so I’ll just keep an eye on it. Thank you so much.
