Potential chip to root canalled tooth

First molar was removed and second premolar was root canalled in 2021. The gum around it has recently become sore, red and swollen, and upon further inspection, the premolar looks a little chipped. Its always had an uneven edge since the root canal but I don't remember if it looked chipped. I've attached two photos; the tooth today, and an x-ray from 7 months ago (I don't know if I'm seeing things but the surface does look uneven on the x-ray?) There's no pain but there's no obviously no nerve in the tooth.

Looks OK. In the long term, I wouldn't be surprised if the filling on the premolar chipped a bit because it will be taking more pressure now that the molar was removed. It is usually best to plan for an onlay or crown for root-filled back teeth.
