Pain when chewing.

Hi, so I had a root canal on an upper molar in April and about a week ago I had the permanent crown put on. All was ok before, and my dentist shaved the crown down to fit my bite (she asked me to bite down and to grind my teeth on 2 or 3 occasions until it seemed ok). The first few days it was ok but I think I was being mindful not to put too much pressure on it to begin with.

But the last couple of days I have had pain on that side when chewing on my bottom back teeth and upper back teeth. Only when chewing.

Is this a problem with the root canal treatment or something else?

Good day

Could still be an occlusion problem only and the crown needs a little more adjustment. Go back to the dentist for a follow-up.
