Good Afternoon,

I was hoping to get some feedback. I recently got a Root Canal on my first molar (Left Side) with an Endodentist. It's been 8 days and I am still feeling discomfort/pain. It has a burning sensation sometimes, constant aching, throbbing, and even sharp pain sometimes; Almost as if I pulled a muscle on the tooth. Is it normal? I ask because when you check online it says "pain/discomfort" should go away in a few days. Perhaps everyone heals differently? Is it possible it failed or just wasn't done right? The tooth is not sensitive to to cold, doesn't appear to hurt when pressure is applied to it. It does still have a temporary filling in it as tomorrow I have an appointment with my Dentist to do a perm. filling.

Thank you again.

After a root canal has been finished, it does take some time to settle. Sometimes it can take 1 month or more. The root canal looks like it was done well on the x-ray. I would just be a little more patient.
