I had a root canal done under a few teeth about 5 years ago and there is now inflammation underneath one of them and severe pain and some swelling. They didn't write me any prescription and said it wasn't bad enough. I've been taking ibuprofen as reccomened but it no longer helps. I'm not sure what else to do to help the pain. Would putting warmth or heat on it help?
